What is Context window?
The context window is the maximum number of tokens a model can attend to in a single request — the prompt, any documents, and its own output combined. Modern frontier models offer 200K–1M+ token windows. Bigger windows let you feed in whole codebases or books, but cost and latency grow with usage.
