What is Large Language Model (LLM)?
A large language model is a neural network — almost always a transformer — trained on vast amounts of text to predict the next token. That simple objective, at sufficient scale, produces models that can write, summarize, translate, reason and code. Examples include Claude, GPT, Gemini and Llama.
